Eleven Dynamics EXPO 2026: Moving automation forward together

Over 100 participants, two days of ideas and one shared drive to move automation forward.

Growing together

A new chapter for our EXPO

Back together in Rosenheim

On 24 and 25 September, we welcomed over 100 participants to the KuKo in Rosenheim for the second Eleven Dynamics EXPO. Customers, partners, industry professionals and our entire team came together to explore automation, exchange experience and spark new collaborations. This year felt like a real step forward from our first edition, with a new venue and even more to discover together. Seeing familiar faces return and new ones join us made us proud of how our EXPO is growing.

Industry presentations and real customer applications

Thursday’s presentations took us into very different working environments, from engineering at CERN to automated metrology at Hyundai and the ZBG application presented by KaKue. With KUKA, we explored mobile robotics, while Linrob and our team showed how retrofit projects can give existing equipment a new role with EDAS. We brought these experiences together so our guests could see how different companies approach practical challenges and find ideas for their own projects.

Exploring what we can do together

Virtual clamping and mobile automated metrology gave us two concrete examples of what collaboration can achieve. Together with Witte Barskamp, we presented V-Precision, combining EDAS and Witte’s expertise in virtual clamping. With Vector 0 Metrología, we explored mobile automated metrology solutions powered by EDAS. Sharing these projects is especially rewarding for us because they show how our software and our partners’ knowledge come together in applications that customers can put to work.

A partner exhibition full of expertise

We were proud to welcome MQS AG, KaKue Automation GmbH, API Metrology, Hexagon | CALIPRI, KUKA, ELITE ROBOTS, SHINING 3D, SCANOLOGY EUROPE, Vector 0 Metrología, Witte Barskamp GmbH & Co. KG, Verisurf Software, Inc., GIRI by AR-Experts GmbH and QS Grimm GmbH to our exhibition. Between presentations, our guests could visit their stands, explore technologies and discuss their own requirements directly with the teams. We are grateful to every exhibitor for bringing their expertise and helping make those conversations possible.

EDAS software updates and upcoming developments

We also shared what we are building next. Santiago and Michael looked back at our journey and introduced upcoming developments, including our e learning platform and marketplace for plugins and library items. We explored our direction for AI vision and predictive programming, from recognising parts and their position to identifying features and generating robot paths. Florian’s software update brought the focus to the latest EDAS 5.0 developments, connecting our ambitions for the future with the work happening today.

Live EDAS training and bilingual presentations

On Friday, our Application Engineers Swaroop and Kaew led live EDAS training sessions, showing how to design, programme and simulate in the software. We wanted our guests to leave with a clearer understanding of the workflow behind the applications presented on stage. We also offered live translation in English and German throughout the presentation programme, making it easier for our international community to follow the talks and join the exchange.

A little Wild West after a day of automation

On Thursday evening, we swapped robot paths for dance steps as our Wild Wild West celebration got underway. We shared dinner, tried some line dancing and played bingo with prizes up for grabs. Everyone who joined us in costume also entered a prize lottery, giving us one more reason to bring out the cowboy hats. It was a lovely way to unwind after a full day, with plenty of laughter and time to enjoy each other’s company.

Taking the next step together

Our second EXPO gave us plenty to build on, and we are proud of how the event has developed since its first edition. To our speakers, exhibiting partners, customers and everyone who attended, thank you for sharing your time, knowledge and enthusiasm. And to our entire team, thank you for the care and effort that brought these two days to life. We leave with conversations to continue, ideas to explore and fresh motivation to keep moving automation forward together.
