From February 4th to 6th, we gathered at our office and showroom in Bad Feilnbach for our annual kick-off, bringing together almost the entire Eleven Dynamics team in one place, while those who couldn’t attend joined remotely. As a company operating across countries and time zones, these in-person moments are very necessary.
The kick-off combined our strategy meeting, the official opening of the year, and the Q4 closure, where we reviewed performance, key figures, and analytics. Looking at the numbers gave us clarity and focus, while our strategy sessions aligned everyone on priorities for the year ahead. We also introduced new policies and discussed how to keep scaling in a structured way.
One of the highlights was forming mixed-department teams for workshops, intentionally bringing together colleagues from sales, application, development, accounting and marketing. This created space for honest discussions, fresh perspectives, and a better understanding of each other’s daily challenges.
Of course, it was not all presentations and strategy boards. We added short challenges throughout the days, including pitching random office objects as if they were groundbreaking products and an unexpectedly competitive rock-paper-scissors tournament. Creativity, quick thinking, and a good sense of humor filled the room, proving that even in a highly technical company like ours, a bit of playful competition brings out great energy.
On Thursday, we swapped presentations for puzzles and stepped into escape rooms, where teamwork and quick thinking were the only way out. Back at the office, the BBQ fired up, conversations got louder, and the evening transformed into a proper office party.
We wrapped up the week with technical workshops on Friday, diving deeper into product development and innovation to ensure that our strategy translates into concrete action. Overall, these days in Bad Feilnbach were valuable, energizing, and important for us as a largely remote company.
We are already looking forward to our next big reunion at our Expo in September, where the Eleven Dynamics team will come together again to continue shaping the future of automation.
