Rosenheim, 18 June 2025 – Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber in unveiling a strategic technology partnership with Eleven Dynamics AG, a leader in precision robotics and automation. This collaboration focuses on leveraging cutting-edge measurement technology to enhance vehicle component precision and significantly speed up production processes.
Central to this partnership is the implementation of Eleven Dynamics' innovative EDAS platform (Eleven Dynamics Automation Suite), designed specifically for automating inspection and measurement tasks in demanding, high-performance environments. By integrating robot-assisted measurement directly into production, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber replaces traditional manual inspections and complex measurement procedures with rapid, accurate, and real-time analyses.
Carbon components, renowned for their intricate designs and tight tolerances, will now be automatically verified to micrometre precision. Additionally, crucial aerodynamic parts such as front wings and underfloors will undergo inline, non-destructive evaluation, ensuring continuous and immediate availability of measurement data to engineering teams. This empowers faster, more informed decisions on vehicle setup and development.
As part of this mutually beneficial partnership, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber gains unprecedented efficiency, reduced decision-making timelines, and enhanced data accuracy, directly translating into improved on-track performance. Eleven Dynamics, meanwhile, receives invaluable insights from applying their technologies in the demanding environment of Formula One, further accelerating their innovation cycle and refining their solutions for broader industrial applications.
Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber: “Our partnership with Eleven Dynamics helps Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber make another step in the direction of efficiency, precision and, ultimately, performance. Together, we chase every micrometre: Formula One is a sport of marginal gains and incremental development, and Eleven Dynamics allows us to automatise and speed up crucial production processes, giving us time to focus on what matters most: on-track performance.”
Michael Fischer, COO of Eleven Dynamics AG: “Innovation in robotics brings speed to the track—and that is precisely our common goal. High-downforce cars, such as those from the Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber, are ideal for high-precision measurement technology. Together, we're elevating quality control to a new level."
Santiago Droll, CEO of Eleven Dynamics AG: “This partnership demonstrates how modern industrial technology directly enhances motorsport performance, and how engineering innovation can become a genuine competitive advantage."

The Sauber Group of Companies is composed of two operational entities: Sauber Motorsport AG, which operates and manages its Formula OneTM team; and Sauber Technologies AG, which focuses on third-party business in the areas of advanced engineering, prototype development and additive manufacturing, in addition to full and model-scale testing in the factory’s state-of-the-art wind tunnel and ground-breaking innovation in the field of aerodynamics. The companies collaborate closely and share know-how to apply the expertise of all the dedicated individuals at the headquarter in Hinwil, Switzerland, to all internal and external projects.
The Sauber Group puts sustainability at the heart of its mission; its business, operating under the ISO 14001 environmental management standard, has been carbon neutral since
2011 and the company has achieved the Three-Star level in the FIA Environmental Accreditation Framework.
Since its founding in 1970, the innovative Swiss company has been setting standards in the design, development and construction of race cars for various championship series, such as
Formula One, DTM, and WEC. Following its own Formula One debut in 1993, Sauber Motorsport AG has established one of the few traditional and privately held teams in the sport. A member of the exclusive club of teams which competed in more than 500 F1 races, it celebrated 30 years in the sport in 2022 and continues to go from strength to strength on and off the track.
